“True embodiment is the ability to remain connected

to yourself through all seasons of life.”

Feel Strong, Supported,

and at Home

in Your Body

Movement, strength, and mindful support for women navigating pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, perimenopause, and life’s seasons.

Learn to connect with your body, build sustainable strength, and develop a mind-body connection with yourself.

Your Body Is Constantly Evolving

Maybe you feel disconnected from your body or unsure how to support it during this season. As our bodies evolve, our habits must evolve with us. It's normal to feel that old habits and behaviors that once served us, are no longer as effective.

You may be wondering:

  • Do I need to be in shape to start?
  • What kind of movement is safe for my body right now?
  • How do nutrition and strength training work together?
  • How do i become strong without getting injured?
  • There is so much advice online, how do I know what will work?
  • Are there other benefits to movement in addition to physical changes?

  • Want to become stronger without using shame as motivation
  • Are navigating changes in your body or identity

FAQs

Who is Embodied by Elizabeth for?

Embodied by Elizabeth is designed for women who are wanting to prioritize strength, fitness and health from a sustainable approach. Embodied by Elizabeth merges strength training, functional movement, breathwork, core and pelvic floor awareness, yoga, and holistic wellness to help women feel stronger, more connected, and confident in their bodies weather you are pregnant, in postpartum recovery, or facing the physical and emotional transitions of motherhood.

What makes Elizabeth's approach different from traditional personal training?

I don’t believe strength and fitness is simply about lifting heavier or changing the physical appearance of your body. My approach considers the whole woman—breath, alignment, core, pelvic floor, nervous system, strength, mobility, and the demands of everyday motherhood.

The goal is to help you understand your body, work with it, and build strength that translates into real life.

Can I work with you while I’m pregnant?

Yes! Prenatal training can be adapted to your stage of pregnancy, experience level, symptoms, and individual needs. The goal is to help you maintain strength, mobility, body awareness, and confidence while your body changes.

I feel like my body doesn’t feel like “mine” anymore. Is this for me?

This is exactly the kind of transition Embodied Motherhood was created to support.

Rather than focusing on getting your “old body” back, we focus on reconnecting with the body you have now—building strength, awareness, confidence, and trust as you move through motherhood.

What types of services do you offer?

  • Prenatal strength training
  • Postpartum strength & movement
  • Core & pelvic floor-focused movement
  • Functional strength training
  • Yoga
  • Breathwork
  • Reiki
  • Embodied Motherhood group programs
  • Community events designed to bring women home to themselves

Do you offer one-on-one training?

Yes. One on one hour long sessions are designed specifically for the individual and their fitness goals.

Do you offer group classes?

Semi private group training is offered in an hour-long session with programming that is still individualized to you; but shared in a space with other Embodied members. Embodied Motherhood is also offered throughout San Diego in a series form periodically throughout the year.

What can I expect from a session?

All sessions are an hour long and  begin with a verbal check in on where your body is at. After warmup and activation we move though full body strength, balance and stability with guidance on form, breath and total integration. The sessions end with a combination of stretching, yoga and breathwork.

What does “embodiment” mean to you?

Embodiment is the ability to remain connected to yourself through all seasons of life. It is the practice of becoming more connected to your body—learning to notice what it needs, understand how it moves, and trust the signals it gives you.

It’s not about perfect movement or creating a perfect aesthetic. It’s about developing a deeper relationship with yourself through movement, breath, awareness, and strength so this sense of self translates into all elements of your life.

Do I need to be spiritual or into yoga to work with you?

No. While my background includes yoga, breathwork, mindfulness, and holistic wellness, my approach is grounded in practical movement and strength. You don’t need to identify as “spiritual” or have any yoga experience.

Is this about weight loss?

Body composition and weight goals can be part of a woman’s journey, but they aren’t the sole focus of my work. I believe sustainable wellness begins with building strength, understanding your body, and creating a healthy relationship with movement. My goal is to help women feel capable and at home in their bodies—not simply chase a number on the scale.

How much experience do I need?

None!

What happens after I contact you?

Once you reach out, you’ll hear back within 24hrs and we’ll start with a conversation about where you are, what your goals are, and what kind of support would be most appropriate. From there, we’ll determine the best way to work together.

What if I’m not sure what I need?

That’s okay. You don’t need to know exactly what your body needs before you reach out.

Maybe you’re pregnant and want to stay strong. Maybe you’re postpartum and don’t know where to begin. Maybe you’re experiencing leaking, core weakness, discomfort, or simply feel disconnected from your body.

We can start with where you are and figure out the next step together.
